Moving from Vancouver to the Okanagan was challenging in that there is no ocean and having lived on board a vessel for over 20 years it was odd, awkward and lonesome being on dirt.

While meeting Mandi at Creative Chaos with her displayed artwork, tucked in the rear was a familiar sight, the ocean!

It was an instant relief, creating feelings of comfort, familiarity and solice; not only was Mandi significantly mindful of the instant connection, she hand wrapped and delivered the original work to our home.

This act of kindness is one that is felt in every piece of her work.  We since have acquired many original pieces, each representative of a special memory, experience, or event, such as seagull on a red dinghy.

It is also a privilege to showcase her many pieces as Mandi is as inspirational a person as she is a painter.
